Our Mission

To ethically produce great tasting coffee and tea, and promote socially responsible trading and a more inclusive society through the employment and training of people with disabilities.

Based in Leeds, we manufacture and distribute our premium coffee, tea, cocoa and sugar to cafés, high street retailers, churches, voluntary sector organisations and large public sector customers such as Leeds City Council. Our passion for coffee and tea means we guarantee only 100% Arabica coffee and Single Estate Tea.

We are a Social Firm, a not for profit business who are committed to providing training and employment for the disadvantaged and disabled people of Leeds and surrounding area. We are proud to give these people a chance to develop the skills, confidence and reference needed to find successful employment. The more we sell, the more people we can give a helping hand to - simple!

The business was set up in 2005 as a subsidiary of People Matters, a local voluntary sector organisation that develops inclusive communities through leisure, learning and employment, to provide the next step for people in the community. People Matters is also a registered member of Social Firms UK and has been awarded Investors in People accreditation.
