The two most popular types of coffee are Arabica, the superior quality variety, and Robusta, an harsh inferior bean. At Just Coffee People, all our whole bean and ground coffees are 100% Arabica, and whilst most commercial instants use the cheaper Robusta bean, even our Freeze Dried Instant uses 100% Arabica beans giving a great tasting smooth coffee.

In general, many commercial tea bags contains low grade leaves, mostly left-over from the tea manufacturing process, that is then marketed at the lowest price for mass appeal. Single Estate Teas on the other hand, are unadulterated original high grade teas that come from particular estates. Just Coffee People’s Tanzanian Kibena Estate Tea, uses only these high grade leaves to give a delicious light clean flavoursome taste with low tannin and bright liquor.

Guaranteed Roast Date to Ensure Maximum Freshness
Unlike most other brands which are bulk processed and stored for long periods of time, all our beans are freshly roasted and then ground to order in our local production centre to optimise their characteristic flavours and taste. And to guarantee this fact our bags display a ‘Roast Date’ on the back so that when you buy coffee from 'just coffee people' you will know that it has been roasted and ground in the past few weeks.
